IO44

OVERVIEW

The io44 is an Ethercon to four analogue I/O, designed to bi-directionally link any combination of 4 x 3 pin XLR audio connectors to Ethernet Cat5e or Cat6 cables.

The io44 uses an RJ45 connector for professional audio, video, and networking applications. The adapter can carry 4 analog XLR audio signals over a single RJ45 network cable. It can connect audio from mixers, microphones, and instruments to the XLR ports and route all 4 signals over a shielded balanced Ethernet cable to another io44, splitter device such as the DX08B and DX16B.

The io44 is perfect for running audio through wall cavities, thus providing affordable and more portable or temporary audio networking.
