DX16B
OVERVIEW
The DX16B is a high-performance, 16-channel, 3-way passive audio splitter designed for uncompromising signal integrity. Retaining the versatile DNA of its predecessor, the 16B introduces upgraded locking XLR inputs on the front panel along with three (3) audio signal splits provided in XLR, Ethercon, and DB25 (Tascam format) multi-pin output connectors.
Optimized for microphone signals, the DX16B provides the essential flexibility required in demanding live sound and studio environments. It allows engineers to seamlessly distribute isolated audio feeds to Front of House (FOH), monitor consoles, and recording rigs simultaneously.
The unit offers comprehensive connectivity, featuring 16 XLR inputs and outputs on the front, supplemented by 48 additional outputs on the rear (16 via XLR, 16 via 3 x 4ch Ethercon, 16 via 2 x 8ch 25-pin D-Sub). Housed in a rugged 2RU metal chassis, the DX16B is entirely passive—requiring no external power—making it a reliable, “road-ready” solution for any professional audio kit.
