Violet Audio Unveils New dMix 128 Digital Mixing System
The new dMix 128 networked digital mixing system from Violet Audio.
Violet Audio has announced the launch of the new dMix 128, a networked digital mixing system engineered for live sound, broadcast, installation, and immersive audio applications, developed by an international engineering team across Singapore, Australia, and Brazil. It will be on display at the 2026 NAMM Show at the Anaheim Convention Center, booth 14419.
The dMix128 is built around an FPGA-centric architecture, providing 128 channels at up to 96 kHz, with sub-millisecond system latency and sonic transparency. It’s natively optimized for IP-based audio workflows, supporting AES67 as standard, with a roadmap for ST 2110-30 compatibility.
Onboard are MADI I/O and three Ethernet ports, as well as support for Dante via an optional expansion card, alongside provision for future protocols as they emerge. The dMix128 is controlled via a browser-based user interface, eliminating the need for proprietary software, and is designed to enable fast operation from computers, tablets, and dedicated control surfaces.
Further, there are 32 analog inputs and 24 analog outputs with support for a wide range of remote I/O and stageboxes. For recording and hybrid workflows, 64 x 64 channel computer drivers enable DAW connectivity and native plugin integration, making the mix system suited for live-to-studio, broadcast, and virtual soundcheck environments.
The Violet Audio dMix 128 will begin shipping in 2026 through selected international distributors.
